ABOUT US

First of all, thanks to the friends at IIT-M who encouraged me to start a comic strip. As a result a cartoon strip with focus on events in campus was started with central character as 'Hoodda' (named after a friend of mine). The weekly strip that started in 2009 flourished for almost a year before it was stopped as I graduated out of the institution. Almost after two years the strip is revived again with a new vigour and a new theme. In its new avatar, I am trying to focus on the critical socio-political issues that we all come across often.

Now, daalmekaala strives to satiate the satirical thirst of its followers with contemporary humour as we try to explore the unexplored side of our society.
